Part 564 Requirements

In general, the information required in a Part 564 submission is as follows:
I.  Filament or discharge arc position and tolerance.
II. Dimensions pertaining to filament capsule and capsule supports.
III. Bulb base interchangeability dimensions and tolerances.
IV. Bulb holder interchangeability dimensions and tolerances.
V. Wiring harness connector to bulb base interchangeability dimensions and tolerances.
VI. Seal specifications (if applicable).
VII. Electrical Specifications for each filament at 12.8V.
VIII. Bulb markings/designation.
IX. All other information necessary for interchangeability, replaceability, or system test purposes.  This would include, but not be limited to, dimensional or performance specifications, coatings, and ballast information.
